Ingredients:
BBQ Pulled Jackfruit
- 5 Tablespoons Barbeque Sauce
- 1 can Jackfruit
- 4 Brioche Hamburger Buns
Directions
- Heat non-stick sauce pan at medium to high heat
- Add 1 teaspoon of oil or cooking spray
- Remove water from jackfruit can and empty contents into hot sauce pan
- Press down on pieces of jackfruit until consistently ‘pulled’ apart
- Add Barbeque Sauce and stir throughout jackfruit
- Spread jackfruit mixture to coat entire pan
- Increase heat to high and cover pan for 10 minutes, stirring every 3 to 4 minutes to allow jackfruit to crisp on bottom of pan
- Remove from pan
- In the same pan, heat the brioche buns on each side until slightly toasted
- Fill brioche buns with pulled jackfruit mixture and add more barbeque sauce if desired
